Sigga is the manager of Harmony. In addition to that she is an assistant teacher in the clinics, as well as a chef and a housekeeper, responsible for the guesthouse that our visitors stay in.
She is an Earth Mother and as such calls in her teaching for increased awareness in regards to respect for life, for the earth, our fellow humans and other beings. She´s also a reminder for our responsibility towards mother earth and the necessity to abide by her natural laws in order to enable her to continue providing all we need.
Sigga has been engaged in farming with horses, sheeps, goats, chickens and ducks for 30 years. She´s finished courses in organic farming from the Agricultural University of Iceland and has successfully completed a Permaculture Design Certificate Course from Norsk Permakultur Forening held in Iceland 2014.
She has for a long time been interested in health related issues, is a skilled homeopath educated in homeopathy both for people and horses and has a substantial knowledge of home remedies.
Sigga has written, translated and published articles on health related topics and topics connected to sustainable agriculture, in journals, magazines and on the internet. Some of these articles can be found on this webpage but only in icelandic. They touch on topics like essential sugars, mould poisoning, arthritis, hypothyroidism type 2, allergies, Genetically modified organism, organic-, traditional and fabric farming and more.
